President Obama signed the AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT (ARRA) into law on February 17, 2009. The intent of the ARRA is to reinvigorate our economy with new projects that put Americans back to work. As well, a provision exists within in the act that invokes the BUY AMERICAN ACT, which is intended to help bring more manufacturers into the process, compounding the economic boost by allowing more industries to support new projects.
